Hi blog fam and Happy Sunday Funday!  I’ll make this outfit post short and sweet.

If you’re like me at all, some days I just don’t feel like getting jazzed up to go to do something as un-glamorous as running errands. Grocery, drug store, gas etc- sometimes I just want to be comfy, ya know?

I always feel like a braid is a good go-to when I don’t feel like styling my hair. Someone asked me the other day how my braids always looks so “perfectly messy”. Well friends, that’s because I have the braiding skills of a seven year old. That’s how. My braids are always loose and messy. . .I don’t think I could do them any other way?! And, I’m totally ok with the fat braid: it makes me feel like Elsa.  (Also, can I say that if elsa and Justin Beiber had a baby- this would be the outfit/hair combo that would result? I kept saying “This is my Justin Beiber outfit” all day.”

So, I’ll let y’all in on a secret- this outfit was inspired by a friend- although I already had this shirt in my closet when she posted her #ootd with almost the exact same shirt- I really like that she styled it with leggings and sneakers. It was comfy and fashionable. Mimicry is the best form of flattery, right? (Or however that saying goes!)  Check out Britt’s post here: to see how she styled it on her blog, “The Pretty Plus”, where she shows you how to style one of these numbers for a plus-size #ootd. Isn’t she adorbs?

High-Slits and Fly Kicks.

You can follow the link to Britt’s page for her outfit details, or see the links to some  similar products I’ve found for you below.

//Forever 21, High Slit Long Line tee (ON SALE!) in grey// ASOS, Sleeveless high slit, high neck tunic, white// ASOS Ultimate Leather Biker Jacket with zip detail, black// Adidas, Women’s Lite Racers in grey// Green cross body, (Similar):  Macy’s, Michael Kors, Green Jetset cross body bag//

Just as a p.s. These Adidas Racers are the BOMB.COM. I am a bit of a sneaker hoarder- I probably have 8 pairs of relatively new sneakers in my coat closet and these are BY FAR the comfiest, lightest and squishiest ones I own. They have some rad/colors and patterns too, and for the price these sneaks can’t be beat.

What do you like to wear on errand days? Are you comfy or glam? I’ll probably be wearing this outfit a few more times, especially with all the Christmas shopping I still need to get done!

I love this blog!! Somehow I missed it when you actually posted it but I’m so glad I came across it!! I bought a gray tunic with a high slit over the summer but couldn’t find the right thing to pair it with! I have the black leather jacket, plus black leggings, and I think I’ll wear my Chuck Taylor’s instead of sneakers. Totally wearing this on Sunday for church and grocery shopping. Thank you for the idea Kelli!!
