Red, White and Bourbon- Summer Style

June 14, 2015
Red, White and Bourbon Sippin'

red white and blue, summer style, pleated maxi skirt, long red skirt, belted skirt, ikat, ikat clutch, cat eye sun glasses, front tie crop top, white crop top

I threw this outfit together last minute when boyfriend asked if I wanted to go for sushi. Um, is that even a question? My hair was already thrown up on top of my head and I already had on lipstick, so I figured I needed to wear something that matched  the bright orange/red on my lips. (Lip color is Wet n’ Wild-Purty Persimmon). Needless to say this getup is ultra casual and super comfy- just right for patio drinking or having a bourbon on the porch. (This day my bourbon of choice was Bulliet! mmmmm!)

So, can I just say how comfy these ankle-strap espadrilles are? I’ve never owned a pair before, and this is my first. I feel like they are a good choice for flats, and the ankle strap makes them more versatile- dress up a teensy bit with a skirt, or wear with jean shorts for a polished-boho look (is that even possible? lol) These are from Just Fab (so is the clutch) and I seriously love their site- everything is affordable and oh, so cute.

These particular sunnies are from Pitaya ( but were on clearance and not listed on their website. Instead, I’ve included the CAUUUUUTEST pair of cat eye sunglasses on the product collection above from ZeroUV ( for $9.99- I couldn’t help my self from ordering them!

These come in pink, white (clear), black, blue and purple.  #musthave
