DPHue: Add these hair products to your beauty regimen to keep your hair color bright and fresh, longer!

January 4, 2017

I don’t know about you gals- but I try to prolong my hair visits to the salon for color as long as possible. In fact, I only go about every 12 weeks (which is a REALLY long time to go for someone who is blonde, but not naturally blonde.)  My hair has been every shade of blonde over the past 10 years, but now I can finally say I’m happy with the icy level of blonde I’ve got- Thanks to my wonderful stylist Brittany! This post I’ll be talking about my most recent hair product rave- DPHue color shampoos and conditioners!

Keep you color bright and fresh longer with DPHue.

I recently attended a DPHue event at Ulta in Greenwood. There I met Justin Anderson, from LA and colorist to the stars. He asked if I’d like to try their line and see what I thought. Um Duh- you do Miley and J.Aniston’s hair? Um, yea if it’s good enough for them: GIMME that stuff! Annnnd, I’m not disappointed.

The problem I have with waiting so long in between appointments, is my ice blonde gets dull over those 12 weeks, and turns to more of a warm, honey blonde. My hair pulls warmth naturally and I HATE IT!  Queue the DPHue Cool Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner. And, don’t worry brunettes and red heads- they’ve got color lines for you, too!

I personally use the Cool Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner. (I mix the shampoo 1/2 and half with my regular shampoo so it gets a good lather, and mellows out the color a little!) DPHue has a color line for brunettes and red heads too- leaving just a little bit of a color deposit in between your hair appointments to keep your color bright and fresh!

Plus- at only $24 a bottle, these don’t break the bank. (By stretching out your visits to the salon- this is definitely worth it!)

I’ve also been loving DPHue’s Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse. I think we’ve all tried a cliche pinterest post of using apple cider vinegar on your hair instead of shampoo- not you? ohhhh. Well I have. Let me tell ya ladies, this stuff is so much better. It has less of that sharp vinegar smell, and is infused with with lavender extract, aloe vera, and argan oil- leaving your hair light and removing build-up; which is great for me because I use so much hairspray and other hair products. I use this about once a week.

As a little side note, I didn’t want to wear my extensions for this post so y’all could see the color of my real hair, and not let the extensions get in the way of seeing what’s real, and what’s extension.
