Work Wear Series, Week 1: Office Friendly Polka Dot pieces

    June 4, 2018

Hey, hey there blog fam babes! I’m back tonight with a . . .GASP. . .FASHION POST.  I know it’s been a while since a fashion post, and I’ve just been full of food posts, because well, y’all know I love to eat! If you follow on me in instagram (@bighairandfoodiefare) you may have seen that recently I’ve been posting some work-friendly looks using the hashtag #kellisworkstyle (use this when you post, I would love to see your work-style looks!)

Anyhoo, tonight I’m sharing one of my favorite trends for this season that can transfer over into the “work world”. Full disclosure, I pretty much do what I want at work. I would go ahead and classify my attire as “business casual”, but I usually wear whatever I want that I consider “nicer than leggings and sweats.” So, I really don’t have a dress code, per se.

So let’s go ahead and get on with it. . .my first favorite trend of the season is polka-dots. There are so many fun pieces out this season with polk-dots, I can’t even keep up. I’m linking a few pieces that I personally have and also a few that I don’t own, but I’m loving! You can shop these posts by clicking on the links below.

I hope you guys are loving polka-dots this season as much as I am. Stay tuned for my next post which will be about the paper-bag pant trend.
