Hiya blog fam. Today I’m posting about one of my favorite photo props- hand made flower crowns. (I actually might be a little obsessed!) I originally decided to try to make some crowns myself after seeing a few of my favorite photogs on Instagram doing the MOST BEAUTIFUL shoots with their clients in flower crowns. A few months ago I decided that I would make flower crowns for each bridesmaids in one of my best friend’s weddings. My gift also included a photo shoot of all the bridesmaids wearing the crowns on the beach; I love the beachy-boho look and thought a this would be a gift the bride could keep for the rest of her life. I’ve included a few pics of the beach shoot, and a few other shoots below as well as photos of a few crowns I whipped up that are now for sale on my Etsy shop.
(My girlfriend Jamie suggested that I open an Etsy shop, so voila- here it is! You can check out my shop at the following link: etsy.com/shop/BigHairandFoodieFare)
My dress in the photo above is from Windsor: Ivory Lace Bohemian Maxi, $39.
This photo of my girlfriend Krista is probably my favorite pic from the trip!
Miss Lindsay’s maternity shoot was so cute- blue for baby boy!
And last but not least- the flower crown that Kelly is wearing is probably my favorite I’ve made yet. I thought the purple looked amazeballs with her fiery red hair!
All photos are my own. Flower crowns are available for custom order, wedding parties, or as photo props. For questions, comment or email me at kelli@bighairandfoodiefare.com
These crowns are currently up for sale on my etsy store, link in the beginning of this post.
