Indy Fashion Blogger Event: Brunch and Shopping at Hamilton Town Center

    April 9, 2018

Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending a blogger event at Hamilton Town Center that has been one of the most enjoyable event’s I’ve attended (as a blogger) to date. Mackenzie and Alexis who work for Simon, put this event together, and it really was such an awesome day. I wasn’t sure what to expect, except that I knew we would start our day at Stone Creek Dining ( a Cunningham property, so I know it was going to be good!) and that we would head to some shops afterward. I’m going to give you guys a quick recap of our day along with some fun photos, and links to shop and share all of the other ladies that joined me!

First we started at Stone Creek Dining Company. They had the table set up so beautifully for us, with spring bouquets, complete with cocktails and name tags.Stone Creek Dining at Hamilton Town Center, Indy Blogger Event

Me, Kelli @bighairandfoodiefare and Steph Weber of Trendy in Indy, @trendyinindy (If you’re looking for some fashion and mama inspo, I highly recommend checking these ladies out.)

First course, a seasonal spinach salad. This was such a hit with the whole table! I personally have a thing for pistachios, so you can imagine how much I loved this.

They gave us a preset menu to choose from, with some new seasonal menu items. I chose the “Orange Miso Salmon”. Salty and sweet, the Salmon was cooked to a perfect medium temperature.

Last but certainly not least, they brought us out a dessert sampler with  carrot cake, a flour-less chocolate cake and a Dreamsicle cheese cake.

Lunch was seriously so great, our servers were friendly and they even sent us home with a goody basket with some of their signature dipping sauce for bread , a carrot cake jar and a gift card, which I’m super pumped about!

Next, we headed over to Sweet Olive Boutique where they had some goody bags for us and we each got to pick out two items. I chose two pairs of shoes and some funky palazzo pants with a front tie on them. I didn’t get a pic of the pants, but I’ll be posting them in an upcoming blog post soon, so y’all can catch them then.

Ladies, find you someone who looks at you like I look at shoes. If you guys didn’t know, I have a bit of a shoe fetish. It’s a little out of hand. BUT I MEAN COME ON! SHUUUHHHSS. Like, I am actually looking at these shoes as if I’m holding a baby. Thought it was too funny not to share!

Next we moved on to Occasionally Yours, a fun shop that has quite the selection of items ranging from jewelry, designer kitchen ware, and gift items. Brands include Brighton, Alex and Ani, Kendra Scott,  and Stella Valle to name a few. In fact, we were gifted with two beautiful bracelets from Stella Valle and one from Ronaldo Designer Jewleery. Here we are showing off our goods!

Last we  headed over to Evereve. I’ve always walked passed this store in the Keystone Mall, but have never been inside. I didn’t realize that they have designer products, including free people, Blank NYC, Sam Edelman and lots of well-known brand name jeans. The staff is body-type  and denim trained, so they know just what kind of jeans will work best with your body type. I thought this was pretty cool, most places don’t really give great customer service in-store any more so this was a major point of interest for me. I tried on one pair of jeans I found on the sale rack, and the brand was Pistola. Turns out I loved them! If you want to see everything I purchased, you can head over to my Instagram and click on my “Evereve haul” in my highlights reel.

Here are the jeans and some of the pieces I purchased:

By the end of shopping at Evereve, we were all sitting on the floor. We literally shopped ’til we dropped! To wrap up this post guys, I want to say that I was really surprised at the options and how many shops there actually are at Hamilton Town center. I have to be honest and say I’ve only driven by and I wasn’t aware how many good stores there are in this outdoor mall! (We live in Indiana so I will never understand why outdoor malls are a thing when it’s cold 6 months out of the year) but this mall definitely doesn’t disappoint! If you’re local give it a try, and while you’re there, stop on over to Stone Creek Dining Company for a cocktail and some dessert!

Thanks again to the the awesome team at Simon (MacKenzie and Alexis), Madeline the photographer, Stone Creek Dining Company, Sweet Olive Boutique, Occassionally Yours and Evereve. You all put on such a fantastic event. I will be back!

Before I leave you, I wanted to share my outfit details including the last outfit from Evereve and everything I purchased there, and the striped bow mules I am wearing in the other photos! You can click on the carousel below to shop!
