OK- so, Spring is here and this is my groundbreaking Spring fashion revelation- florals and bright colors. . .GASP!!!- who would have thought?
Today’s post is quick #ootd – fun, springy and casual with a pop of electric (now mellow) yellow. I wore this to meet up with some fellow Indy bloggers, two of my faves- Brittany Mason of “The Pretty Plus” and Ashey Wottring of “Fashionately Me“. A couple of totally rad gals with awesome product recommendations and uber good taste in all things fashion. We started off the night at Hotel Tango with some delicious cocktails and open doors (and did you know you can bring your pooch just as long as both of you promise not to bite?) and finished at Marrow- amazing FOOD. I mean, seriously YUM. Go if you haven’t been, and that’s an order.
As we’ve discussed- my current obesh is body suits. (Although I don’t recommend wearing one if you’re going to have a bathroom marathon or wearing see through pants- and. . . as an after thought I’m silently wondering who actually has see-through pants?) This particular body suit is from Fashion Nova- one of my fave places to order from (I love their high-waisted jeans for reals). The material on this is a bit thin as are most of their body suits so I would recommend wearing a cute little lacy number or breast petals under (I, myself prefer to be a free bird so I opt for the second option- a la Target – come in a packet of 3!)
Pair this body suit with a pair of last year’s distressed boyfriends from Charlotte and- bam! I threw these yellow sling-backs on as an afterthought and grabbed this sweater and clutch- just sitting in my closet waiting to be paired with those shoes!
