Hi, Friends! As y’all know, I like to support local and today I’m bringing you one of my favorite spots to cocktail in downtown Indianapolis: Prime 47. If you’re like me and you like to participate in bevs and live in Indy, chances are you’ve been to one or both of the Prime 47 locations. They’ve got an excellent wine menu, and their liquor and spirit collection covers all the bases.
In addition to an old-school atmosphere complete with rich wood accents, iron detailing and grand piano, this spot features prime steaks and a 5 star bar staff. I’ve hosted a couple events here over the last few years (Lisa Lenzke, the Sales manager is your gal if you need to set anything up- she is seriously THE BEST. So helpful, and every event goes off without a hitch.) They also have a wonderful private event space upstairs and across the lobby hall. Did I forget to mention that the food is awesome, too? I’ve always just let Lisa choose what they serve for the parties we’ve hosted here, knowing whatever spread she chooses it will be great!
This is the hot spot if you’re attending a concert or sporting event over at Banker’s Life Field House. Before AND after, this is the place to be!
When I was approached to collaborate with Johnny Walker Black Scotch, I wanted to take some photos for this campaign at a bar downtown that I TRULY love, and this was my spot! When we walked in, one of my fave bartenders in town, Chris Nelson, aka “Nellers” was working and of course I forced him to hop in a pic with me! ( Literally I LOVE their whole bar staff, I’m just missing a pic of Molly, Greg and CK, too!)
