Happy Valentine’s y’all! To me it’s really just another February 14th. Aaron and I don’t really do gifts on holidays, mainly because if we want something through out the rest of the year, we just go ahead and get it.
This year however, I had the opportunity to do a couple’s photo shoot with Jenny Mundy Photography, and you bet your ass I took the opportunity. Aaron and I don’t have many GOOD photos together, so I was super pumped to do this collab with Jenny! Aaron was a good sport and we met up with Jenny at a super cute airBNB in Broadripple after brunch at The Gallery Pastry Shop (also in Broadripple). As a side note ladies, if you need to loosen your man up before or during a photo shoot, I highly recommend going to brunch before hand and getting cocktails or a bottle of champagne. Then I also recommend bringing drinks to the actual photo shoot. Get ya man loosened up a little bit, gals! Plus, it’s more fun for both of you, amiright or amiright?

I love Jenny’s de-saturated editing style, and how she made us feel so at ease and comfortable. We have never had our photos taken together so I was worried we would both be super awkward and end up looking like this:
Welp-Jenny did us right! And while our photos didn’t end up like the one above, Aaron and I are both seriously considering getting new haircuts, buying matching ties, and having a staring contest with the camera, next go-round.
Once again, thank you Jenny for these photos! I will be framing some of these and hanging them around our home!
