What do you do when it’s mid-October and its in the mid-70’s, and you’ve been dying to wear your OTK boots? You wear them with shorts and you don’t give AF.
To be real with you, I’ve seen all the instabloggers wearing boots with shorts and thought I couldn’t pull it off. High heel boots and short shorties don’t really scream “Midwest”. I have my fill on dirty looks already so I opted for the flat boots and compromised with my inner-hussie. (Like why can’t Indiana be more glamorous?!?)
I’ve been looking for a pair of flat OTK boots and when I saw these at Marshall’s last week, I snatched them up. they also have these at DSW which I’ve linked below for you. The shorts, flannel and trench vest are all pieces I had from last year so that was super easy to pull them out of the closet and pair it all together. I also want to point out this fun silver and jade cuff- I love the vintage/western feel with out the vintage price. Thanks forever 21! Outfit deets below.
