Holiday 2018, Sephora Wishlist

December 8, 2018
This is my first blog post (pertaining to and regarding) being Sephora Keystone’s Brand Ambassador. EEEE-Pinch me! You guys- I was SOOO honored (and honestly surprised) when they asked me if I wanted to represent their store in the Indianapolis world of social media. (Eehhhhscuuuuzzzee me? um, DUH). So far I’ve been trying to bring you content you can relate to (after all, I’m not a professional or a makeup artist- I’m just a gal who loves to get glammed up and try new products). I’d love to hear if you have any request on what you’d like to see! Stay tuned to my instagram @bighairandfoodiefare each Friday for #productreviewfriday and for special events, and personal pics on posts like these!

Sephora Keystone at the Fashion Mall

Sephora Keystone is really doing it up this holiday and offering some brand new fun options for YOU, to make your shopping easier. First, they are offering a “personal shopper” option. You can just call ahead and make an appointment, and one of the store’s knowledgeable product gurus will help you choose the perfect gifts for whomever your shopping for. Secondly, they are offering a FREE mini holiday makeover (a 15 minute service that focus on one area- ex. eyes or lips) Or, you can get a deluxe makeover with a $50 minimum purchase in store. That shouldn’t be too hard, right? Nah girl, you got this! Here are some photos of some local influencers that were in for their holiday makeover minis this weekend below.
Timnah of SavvyStyleMom with Sephora Artist, Rebecca getting glammed up for a holiday party. Bring on the glitter!
Kasey Crowe with Sephoa Makeup Artist, Michelle, going for a natural glowy look.
Kate of IntoIndy and Dionne, going in hot for the MEGA GLAM!
Whitley of Splitwhit and Nina (who will beat yo face until you look like Yonce) Tell her I sent you!
To help you guys shop, I’ve created a list of items I’ve either tried and loved or have been coveting. I’ve done all the work for you here- bigger ticket items as well as a list of items under $30 that would be perfect for stocking stuffers! Each item below has a link to purchase (disclaimer, if you purchase via my link I get a teensy commission of your total purchase, so that’s cool and I thank you for your support! 😀 ) If you’re local, I encourage you to go into the store and pick up the items in person- one of Sephora’s awesome gals (or guys) will be happy to hook you right up and can answer any questions you may have, too!

Stila Mini Liquid Glitter and Glow Set
Mini Trio of Mini Liquid Glitter and Glow, eye shadow set. I have one of these (the rose gold) and gosh if I don’t want the other colors, too! These go on SOOO pigmented and liquid, and last ALL dang day. The applicator is similar to a lip gloss applicator so application is precise and easy. I mean, isn’t glitter the easiest way to glam up for a holiday look?
YSL MON PARIS Eau de Parfum
I’ve been wearing the same perfume for years, and I happened to receive this one at a beauty event. OMG you guys, I think I’ve found my new scent! Richie (the rep) suggested I try this one based upon the other scents I usually like, and DAMN he was spot on! This one is floral and slightly sweet with notes of strawberry, raspberry, bergamot, calone, Pear, Orange Flower, Jasmin Sambac, White Peony, Datura, Patchouli, White Musk, Ambrox, Cedarwood, and  Crystal Moss.
Peter Thomas Roth Mask Set (Set of 6) $75
I know what you’re thinking, $75 for a mask set? But seriously y’all, this one is so worth it! I bout this set last year and I’m still using it, but the great thing is the variety in the set, no matter what your skin is doing to act up, you’ve got options with the different formulas in this kit!
  Clarisonic Gift Set, $199
Ok, this item is a little pricier that’s why I’ve added it to this “wishlist”, but I promise you it is OHHH so worth it! I personally own one, and it’s really changed the way I take care of my skin. I keep it in the shower and use it every time I shower along with a sugar scrub. It gently exfoliates and gives your face that deep clean, you didn’t know you even needed. Also the winner of the Fall 2018 Oprah beauty award, so you know it has to be good! This gift set comes with some Kiehl’s products and a 2-year warranty.
Ouai’s “Swing both Ouais” Set, $48
Have I mentioned to you guys how much I love the Ouai hair care line? I was sent some in a promo package from Ouai earlier this year, and now I’m hooked. This set comes with the hair oil and texturizing spray, and gosh do they smell like heaven. (Even if they didn’t do amazing things to my hair, I might just buy them for the beachy and light scent!) This texturizing spray is my favorite thing for when I’m looking for effortless, slightly messy and texturized beach waves. Try it, you’ll love it!
Under $30 (Great for Stocking Stuffers!)   The Golden Mask
Sephora SUPER MASK,  $6. I snagged one of these last week and I was pleasantly surprised to see how smooth and soft my face was immediately following removal of the mask. I would definitely buy this again, and it can’t be beat for only $6! (good for all skin types!)
Anastasia Beverly Hills, Lip Gloss Mini Kit, $25
This set of four goes on relatively nude, and the color is supplied by the super fine glitter! Goes on super shiny and glitzy, and the best part is, it doesn’t feel gritty on your lips! Great by itself or over a matte lip. I’m wearing the gold on in the pic at the top of this post!
Too Faced, Better Than Sex Mascara, $24
I recently just started using this one, and if you haven’t tried it, add it to your list! This one has an hourglass shaped brush with extra stiff bristles to give you ALL the volume!
Voluspa Mini Candle Trio, $24
Who doesn’t love a good scented candle as a gift? This set comes with three scents (Nissho-Soleil, Baltic Amber and Bulgarian Lavender) that each have a 40-hour burn time.    I’m sure there’s something on this list for EVERY lady in your life, happy shopping friends!
